- Journal entries you create within the app
- Mood check-in responses
- Onboarding quiz responses about your goals
This personal content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the app, we automatically collect certain information for analytics purposes:
- App usage patterns (screens viewed, features used)

We use PostHog for analytics to understand how users interact with the app and to improve the experience.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Overthinking, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Local Storage

Anonymous usage analytics are processed by PostHog. This data is used in aggregate to understand app usage patterns and does not include your personal journal content or identifying information.
Voice Transcription
The app offers optional voice-to-text functionality for journaling. Speech recognition is processed on your device using Apple's built-in speech recognition. Audio is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

Your Choices
Deleting Your Data
Since your personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by:
- Deleting the app from your device

Children's Privacy
Overthinking is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
